SUMMER BALL - 2000.

Once again it is the Clubs intention, subject to the necessary approvals, to hold a Summer Ball, in the Marquee, next to the New Clubhouse in Appley Park. The provisional date for the event - which is subject to confirmation - is SATURDAY, 10th JUNE, 2000. The format is expected to be similar to last year with the Ball starting at around 7.00pm and finishing around 2.00am - with an extensive buffet served from around 8.15pm, music and dancing from a live band, and a Disco. The cost, which has not yet been finally fixed, will be similar to last year at around £26 each. As well as being an excellent evening with a growing reputation the Ball has been a major fund-raiser for the Club and has played a major part in providing the funds for our new facilities - which we are keen to improve further. We very much hope you will continue to support the Club and attend this year’s ball. It will help considerably with our planning if you could let the Club know if you intend to come to the Ball by completing the enclosed form or contacting Ian Lennie, 97, George Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight. PO33 2JE. Telephone 01983 612877.
