Wessex Junior Regatta 10th June 07

The Club took a team of fourteen juniors - with ages ranging from eleven to fourteen to the Wessex Junior Regatta, held at Bryanston School, in Dorset on Sunday, 10th June - with several of them competing for the Club for the first time.

The team of Ollie Gove, Max and Bryony Reeve, Adam Edwards, Dale Buckett, Sam Corney, Harry Bachelor, Josh Collyer, Leona Fisk, Elena Gaskin, Alex Guy, Robbie Jones and Holly Evans competed in a range of age based events in Coxed Quads, Coxless Doubles and Single Sculls. Wins were achieved by Adam Edwards and Josh Collyer in the Boys J14 Coxless Doubles and Ollie Gove in the Boys J13 Single Sculls and the J16 Single Sculls. Max Reeve was runner-up in the J11/J12 mixed Sculls and Dale Buckett and Holly Evans were runners-up in the J11/J12 mixed doubles where Robbie Jones and Max Reeve finished 3rd. Another 3rd place was achieved by the J11/J12 mixed coxed quad from the crew of Max Reeve, Sam Corney, Dale Bucket and Harry Bachelor with Ollie Gove coxing.
